One of the most breathtaking areas in the Ontario is the Lake Superior Provincial Park region near Wawa. It is an area of rugged Lake Superior shoreline, deep confer and maple forests, rushing rivers and quiet, pristine lakes. Rabbit Blanket Lake is one such lake. This photograph was taken one cold morning in mid-September, when the mist was rising off the water of the lake and the rising sun illuminated the clouds with a pale, red glow. I managed to get off about three shots of the scene before the clouds turned from red to yellow and the magic was gone.
