This is a scene that I have photographed numerous times. On this occasion, the wind was calm and the fog was of just the right consistency, not so thick as to limit visibility, yet heavy enough to give the scene a mysterious feeling. The graceful curve of the road contrasting with the rigid vertical tree trunks give this scene an interesting graphic design element.
