WP009 Elwa River

The Olympic Peninsula in Washington State is one of the most ruggedly
beautiful places in North America. Ancient conifers tower over rushing
rivers and every bend in the road or trail reveals a new breathtaking vista.
This photograph of a plant covered, mid-stream boulder was taken along the Elwa River as it makes it's hurried decent into Puget Sound.
